FROM TIM REEDERBoard President Dear Members, Supporters & Friends, We believe greater Omaha deserves an organization solely dedicated to historic preservation. That is our mission. We pledge to care for our historic resources through advocacy, education, and action. To be successful, we must care about, and care for, preservation in all the ways it touches lives throughout our community. This year, we are revitalizing our efforts to become highly identifiable as a preservation organization. To begin, we chose to retain our refined and recognizable branding but change to a simpler name. On June 16, 2023, Restoration Exchange Omaha became Preserve Omaha. However, we know the real starting point in making a meaningful impact, is engaging with people who believe as we do. So, we inaugurated a new public event, the Preserve Omaha Community Fair. This free outdoor event, in collaboration with Joslyn Castle, is the beginning of a year-long plan to offer monthly opportunities for people to gather, share ideas, and visit unique places within our city. As always, thanks for your support! Best wishes, Tim |
