One hundred years later, the locks are turning once again.
On October 31, 1926, the world lost Harry Houdini. A century later, his legend remains. And for one extraordinary evening, you are invited to step inside his world.
Preserve Omaha and the Omaha Magical Society invite just 40 guests to an evening of history, mystery and illusion unlike any other.
This is not a traditional magic show. This is your chance to enter the world of the man who made the impossible his life's work.
Your evening begins at the historic Omaha Field Club with cocktails and a plated dinner. Then, board Ollie the Trolley for a journey to the historic Abbott House, where Houdini himself once stayed.
Inside, the magic is waiting.
Spend time in the famed Houdini Room, immerse yourself in the mystery of this extraordinary home and take your seat in the intimate Little Theater, where one of Houdini's legendary escapes will come to life.
And as the evening grows late, perhaps, just perhaps, the spirit of Houdini himself will pay a visit to those brave enough to stay.
After all, who is to say that death could keep the world's greatest escape artist away?

Your evening includes cocktails and a plated dinner at the Omaha Field Club, round-trip transportation aboard Ollie the Trolley, an immersive evening of magic and mystery at the Abbott House, time in the famed Houdini Room and a live escape performance in the Little Theater.
Guests are encouraged to arrive in their finest 1920s attire and help us bring back the glamour and intrigue of Houdini's final era. Period attire is encouraged, but not required. A little mystery, however, is highly recommended.

This evening was created to be intimate and extraordinary. There will be no second performance and no additional seating.

A note about accessibility: The Abbott House is a historic private residence and is not ADA accessible. Performances will take place on the second floor, which is accessible by stairs only. There is no elevator, so guests must be able to navigate stairs to fully participate in the evening.
