Join us Saturday, September 7, for a very special adventure to South Omaha's Southside Terrace. We will be touring two historic structures that are in the process of adaptive reuse under the direction of our friends at Canopy South, a 501(3)c organization investing in the people and places of South Omaha.
First, we'll get a behind-the-scenes tour of the last standing building of the former Jetter's Brewing complex, which is being remodeled into the new Canopy South administrative offices. Next, we'll travel to the former Kunold Funeral Chapel, which is being rehabilitated to serve South Omaha's residents.
We'll meet at the Jetter Brewery building (3031 Upland Parkway) at 1pm to start our tour.
